Congratulations to my daughter for completing high school! We had a party for her on Saturday and had gorgeous weather to celebrate. It was a great time to visit and have fun with all who came!
The cake is made by my sister who is pictured with Tori in the top photo. Colleen has her own donut shop called the Donut Barn. She is an excellent baker and she did a wonderful job here with Tori's cake. On the cake are three of Tori's sheep - the lambs are this year's lambs. I sent her a couple of photos and she pasted them together somehow to make this beautiful picture cake. Tori had the opportunity to 'job shadow' and work with Colleen for a couple of days in December to see how a small bakery works, since she loves baking.
*plug* Colleen makes THE best donuts anywhere!! Of course, I had her bring donuts, which were the hit of the party! If you are anywhere near Odon, IN, make sure you make special plans to stop in and get some!
Tori has worked very hard and has already accomplished many things in life, including managing her own sheep flock business (and all the dirty details like difficult births), homeschooling, piano, intensive church leadership involvement as well as singing with the youth band on Sunday mornings, learning and making various items with her own wool, and she is in her 10th year of 4H.
God bless you daughter in your future plans!! You are talented and gifted by God to do great things!
